Heritage Room

 

As part of the Library’s mission and service to the community, the Heritage Room (Reading Room) is available for public use in accordance with the Library’s Heritage Room Policy.

Due to the room’s size, furnishings, and location within the Library, use of the Heritage Room is limited to small gatherings that can be safely accommodated within established occupancy limits and without disrupting normal Library operations or interfering with public services. The Heritage Room is not suitable for large public events or assemblies.

Priority use of the Heritage Room is reserved for Library-sponsored programs and programs conducted in partnership with the Library.

The Heritage Room is a non-smoking facility.

Seating capacity: 18 persons

Use of the Heritage Room is subject to all provisions of the Heritage Room Policy, including rules related to occupancy, room setup, solicitation, and disruption of Library services.

Requests to use the Heritage Room require a completed application and must be submitted at least one week in advance. Reservations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis and are not confirmed until approved by Library staff and any applicable fees are received.
