The Heritage Room of the Ida Grove Public Library is available at no charge for use by small groups and committees. Educational, civic, cultural, or library-sponsored programs may be held free of charge. No group of a commercial nature or any group conducting any for-profit activity may use the facility (with the exception of approved book signings and author sales). Programs inconsistent with the library's objectives, such as bingo games, religious meetings, money raising functions, political functions, or anything likely to be disruptive will be excluded. The Heritage Room is a nonsmoking facility.
The Heritage Room has a seating capacity of 50 people. Any group requesting to reserve the Heritage Room must contact Ida Grove Public Library to reserve the room. Reservations for use of the Heritage Room must include the name of the group or organization, time desired, and the name and telephone number of the responsible person. At the time of use, the responsible person must check in at the Front Desk.
Audiovisual equipment available for use in the Heritage Room includes:
- DVD player
- Multimedia projector
- Projection wall
Kitchenette facilities available to groups using the Heritage Room include:
- Small refrigerator
- 12-cup Coffee maker
**Please Note: Heritage Room is the only location in Ida Grove Public Library where drink is permitted. No food is permitted anywhere in the library, with exception of library sponsored activities/programs.
